Concord man accused of shooting roommate after disagreement

CONCORD, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — The Concord Police Department says investigating a shooting in Concord Sunday afternoon led them to arrest the victim’s roommate.

Officers were called to 22B Crowell Drive SW around 1:25 p.m. A 37-year-old man was found in the backyard with several gunshot wounds and taken to Atrium Health Cabarrus. He was later transferred to Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center.
