Bitty & Beau’s Coffee will shut down its Charlotte shop at 1930 Camden Road on Sunday, March 22. The café has operated in South End for five years, providing jobs to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
“This decision came only after deep reflection and exploring every possible option to avoid this outcome,” the owners wrote in a note posted inside the coffee shop, according to the Charlotte Observer.
