The suspect and victim in a homicide case in east Charlotte last week were dating, according to an affidavit filed in court by Charlotte-Mecklenburg police.
Police have charged 23-year-old Lhis Brito-Costa with first-degree murder in the death of Evelin Carolina Enamorado-Cisnado.
She confessed to the killing when speaking to detectives, according to the March 11 affidavit, and said she was angry because Enamorado-Cisnado “was cheating on her.”…
