Citigroup opened its Ballantyne office Monday. The bank will invest $16.1 million and add 510 jobs by the end of 2027. This three-floor, 90,000-square-foot building sits at 11225 North Community House Road, marking the company’s growth in North Carolina’s finance sector.
The New York-based bank employed about 350 workers in Charlotte before this move. By next month, 400 new hires will join the team, Edward Skyler, head of enterprise services and public affairs at the company, told The Charlotte Observer on Monday. “This expansion deepens our commitment to Charlotte,” he said.
