Teen faces traffic charges after Union County dirt bike chase

UNION COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — The Union County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to issue warnings to teens and their parents about the reckless driving of dirt bikes.

Deputies say a contract deputy received a call about three dirt bikes (or E-Motos) recklessly traveling down Providence Road, with some of the riders “popping wheelies”. The deputy located them in the parking lot of Weddington Christian Academy.
