CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Dozens of students living off campus near the University of North Carolina at Charlotte were left confused and concerned after two apartment complexes suddenly shut down operations without notice.
Residents at The Union and The Mill say for several days they were unable to reach management, access online portals, or even find staff on-site, raising questions about rent payments and the future of their housing.
