98 traffic citations issued in Cabarrus County checkpoint operation

CONCORD, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Nealy 100 traffic citations were issued during single-day checkpoint operation in Cabarrus County earlier this month.

The sheriff’s offices’ saturation patrol and checkpoint took place March 17, in partnership with Concord Police Department, Kannapolis Police Department and the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.

During these enforcement campaigns, a total of 98 citations, including violations for speeding, restraint, no operator’s license, driving while license revoked, registration violations, no insurance, and other traffic-related offenses…
