9 evaluated after hotel pepper-sprayed in Uptown Charlotte, fireman says

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – Nine people were evaluated after someone pepper-sprayed a hotel floor in Uptown Charlotte early Monday morning.

Firefighters and paramedics were called to the Le Méridien hotel on South McDowell Street around 2:30 a.m. on March 30.

A Charlotte fire battalion chief said first responders got an initial call about respiratory distress, and once firefighters got there, they found multiple people that needed attention…
