Police and emergency crews flooded the West Charlotte neighborhood yesterday afternoon after an assault call near the West Charlotte Recreation Center on Kendall Drive. Chopper 9 circled overhead as witnesses reported a large fight, with at least two ambulances on scene. Authorities had not released a full account of what happened and said the situation remained under investigation.

As reported by WSOC, Chopper 9 Skyzoom was over the West Charlotte Recreation Center at about 2:40 p.m. Thursday when MEDIC crews confirmed they were responding to an assault call along Kendall Drive.
