CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A woman has lost her life after being shot by a family member, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD).
Just after 2 a.m. on Monday, April 6, police were called to the intersection of Penny Cross Lane and Cardington Court for reports of a shooting. This is in a neighborhood off Sunset Road.
At the scene, a woman was pronounced dead from being shot. Investigators believe she was shot by a family member. A suspect is being interviewed by detectives, but no formal charges have been announced…
