CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) — A woman accused of hitting a police officer with a car during a street takeover in March was arrested for running over her former boyfriend’s foot with her Jeep on Thursday.
Records show 25-year-old Tanaezah Austin was charged with assault with a deadly weapon and the crime of domestic violence and was released on a $10,000 bond.
What happened
Police said Austin got into an argument with her former boyfriend inside her west Charlotte home around 8:40 p.m. As the man tried to leave Austin’s home, she got into her red Jeep Patriot and drove at him, running over his foot.
