WAXHAW, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A major road through Waxhaw is down to one lane Wednesday afternoon after a truck knocks down power lines.
According to Waxhaw Police, the collision occurred just after 2 p.m. on N.C. 16 (Providence Road South) at Providence Farms Road. Images show a food company semi-truck tangled up in utility lines, and the damaged pole laying in the road.
