Tracking a significant cool down and minimal chances for rain across the Carolinas

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – After a week of near-record highs and unseasonably warm temperatures, we are finally going to get some cooler air settling across the Carolinas over the next few days.

The forecast is still on track for a cold front to sweep through the Carolinas on Sunday, bringing chances for a few showers and a brief cool down. Tonight looks mainly dry and mild with lows in the 40s across the mountains and 60s in the Charlotte metro.

Tomorrow there will be a chance for a few scattered showers otherwise expect partly sunny skies with highs in the upper 60s and lower 70s…..
