Charlotte bust yields guns, 600+ rounds, drugs, and cash; 2 arrested

CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Two people are facing multiple drug and firearm charges after an investigation in southwest Charlotte earlier this month, authorities said.

According to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police, officers spotted a suspicious vehicle on Griffith Road on Thursday, April 16. CMPD said the vehicle displayed a fictitious license plate and had marijuana and drug paraphernalia visible inside.

Officers reportedly spoke with the driver and later obtained a search warrant for a nearby property connected to the investigation. During the search, CMPD officers reported seizing two firearms, more than 600 rounds of ammunition, suspected narcotics, and $6,433 in cash…
