Charlotte man booked on 23 counts between two counties for alleged break-ins and firearm thefts

LINCOLN COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A north Charlotte man was arrested last month after being associated with separate cases in Lincoln and Mecklenburg counties.

According to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, residents of the eastern part of the county reported numerous vehicle break-ins from March 23 to April 7, many involving smashed windows and the theft of firearms and electronic devices.

He is now behind bars on 23 charges.

On April 7, while investigating the incidents, deputies reportedly located a suspicious vehicle displaying a temporary paper tag covering a North Carolina license plate. When deputies attempted a traffic stop, the vehicle fled. The pursuit traveled down N.C. 73 and ended in the Huntersville area near Brown Mill Road, where the driver fled on foot and was not immediately apprehended…
