Arson investigation underway after north Charlotte apartment fire

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — An arson investigation is underway after an apartment caught fire over the weekend, according to an incident report from Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police.

Charlotte Fire crews responded to an apartment fire in the 2700 block of Dundeen Street around 10 a.m. Saturday. After arriving on scene, crews found heavy smoke coming from four apartments within the complex.

Firefighters controlled the fire within 25 minutes. There were no reported injuries…
