One person was rushed to the hospital Saturday night with life-threatening injuries after a stabbing in south Charlotte, officials said. The attack happened on Seneca Place just off Park Road, where officers worked into the evening securing the scene while investigators combed the area. Police had not released a suspect description or possible motive as first responders continued their work.
According to WCNC, Mecklenburg EMS (MEDIC) confirmed crews transported a patient from the Seneca Place area with critical, life-threatening wounds. The May 23 WCNC report noted officers cordoned off the stretch of road while detectives began canvassing for witnesses.

In March, MEDIC crews responded to a Tyvola Road stabbing that left one person fighting for life, as reported by WSOC, and we previously covered that incident in Hoodline’s left one fighting for life. Those episodes have underscored how quickly violent incidents can erupt in busy south Charlotte corridors.
