Valley Link transmission line proposal advances despite pushback from rural Virginians

LOUISA COUNTY, Va. (WWBT) – Community meetings hosted by Valley Link over a proposed $1 billion transmission line project are drawing hundreds of residents concerned about the line’s impact on their properties and communities, as the company moves closer to finalizing routes.

The project would run from Campbell County to Culpeper County, going through a total of nine mostly rural counties. Valley Link is a joint venture between energy companies, including Dominion Energy.
