The Central Piedmont will experience another day of Extreme Heat on Friday and continuing through July 4. Today’s temperatures will range from 98 degrees in Madison County to 102 degrees in Orange County. Heat indexes will hover between 104 and 115 degrees.
Madison County Department of Social Services has decided to open up their office located at 101 S. Main Street, in Madison today even though it’s a holiday. Doors open at 11 a.m., and will remain open until 6 p.m.
