CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – Hi everyone! We are going to be cooler today compared to what we had last week. Highs will be in the lower 90s, still humid. Patchy fog and scattered showers this morning. Showers and storms are expected later today and the concern is heavy rainfall. There is a Flood Watch issued for most of the viewing area, that will go into effect at 4 PM and last until midnight tonight. Patchy fog expected tonight into tomorrow morning.
SHOWERS AND STORM CONTINUE ON
Each day this week has a chance for showers and storms. Rain amounts from now going into Wednesday could reach up to 2″, potentially even higher than that. However, no one is guaranteed rain. Scattered means that some places could get hit multiple times whereas other never do.
7 DAY FORECAST
Temperatures stay close to our average high for early July.
