CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – Piedmont Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) has expanded its service area to include Culpeper County, effective July 1, ensuring children in foster care there continue to have access to trained advocates.
Culpeper CASA had operated in the area since 2019 through People Incorporated of Virginia. After People Inc. shifted its fiscal priorities, the future of CASA services in Culpeper became uncertain. Piedmont CASA stepped in to take over the program and keep those services in place.
