CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – A 52-year-old Charlottesville woman died on Friday, July 10, in an apparent homicide now under police investigation.
According to a Charlottesville Police Department news release, Beatriz Mendez Feliciano was shot in the head at around 5:30 p.m. on July 10 on the 2200 block of North Berkshire Road. She was later pronounced dead at the UVA Medical Center.
“Witnesses reported a possible suspect fleeing the residence,” according to the news release. “He is described as a Hispanic male who left the area in what witnesses could only describe as an older model red car.”…
