Charlottesville attorney facing ICE-related traffic summons pleads no contest in GCGDC

Wednesday morning in Greene County General District Court, the Charlottesville attorney who was charged with several misdemeanors and a traffic infraction related to the sheriff’s office working with ICE agents rounding up alleged illegal aliens saw his cases conclude.

Andrew Wilder Young, 32, was charged by GCSO Captain Kevin Freid on June 23 with failure to yield to an emergency vehicle and failure to move over for a stopped vehicle on the roadside; operating a vehicle while using a handheld communication device (cell phone); and sounding his vehicle’s horn as he passed the traffic stop…
