Mission BBQ remembrance brings first responders, firsthand 9/11 memories together

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – Police officers, firefighters and members of the public gathered at Mission BBQ on Friday to honor those who lost their lives in the September 11 attacks.

Emergency vehicles filled the parking lot as Charlottesville police and firefighters joined agencies from across the surrounding area for the annual remembrance.
