In recent years, residents of a 29-acre section of Charlottesville slightly to the northeast of the Downtown Mall have identified themselves as a distinct community from the Martha Jefferson neighborhood.
For September, the Charlottesville Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Commission has selected the Little High neighborhood as the location for its monthly walk.
“The walk starts at 10:00 AM and is meeting at Sunrise Elementary School parking lot,” said City Councilor Natalie Oschrin at Council’s meeting on September 9. “It is a two mile walk. Slow-paced, mosey, so people of all fitness levels are encouraged to join and kids are welcome as well.”…
