CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – More than 300 medical professionals have signed a letter endorsing a “yes” vote on one of the ballot amendments that could change the state constitution this November.
Proposed constitutional amendment question one centers on a handful of women’s issues, including, but not limited to childbirth and prenatal and postpartum care. It would also set protections for patients and providers and define when Virginia could restrict abortion during the third trimester.
