72 inches busted pipe repaired by Greene County W&S Department
Crews from Greene County Water & Sewer Department worked overnight Thursday locating and repairing a new water line break along Stanardsville’s Main Street, just south of Ice House Road.
The crew had to wait for Columbia Gas inspectors to arrive on site when they encountered buried gas lines. Hand-digging was needed to expose the soil and repair the four-inch water line.
