CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – UVA Health is hoping to reduce the number of people visiting the emergency room by sending a team of community paramedics out to homes. The Community Paramedicine Program is free and has the team traveling all around central Virginia to conduct weekly or bi-weekly appointments with patients.
