STAUNTON, VA – In a significant breakthrough in a two-year-old case, Dejour A. Walker, a 23-year-old man from Charlottesville, has been arrested and charged with the robbery of a game parlor in Staunton. The arrest, made by agents of the U.S. Marshals Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force on Monday, has brought a long-standing investigation closer to resolution.
The incident, which occurred on May 18, 2022, at VA Skill Games located at 1202 Greenville Ave, involved robbery, grand larceny, and abduction. Additionally, Walker is accused of wearing a mask to conceal his identity during the commission of the crime, adding to the charges against him.
Walker is currently being held without bond at Middle River Regional Jail in Verona, as the Staunton Police Department continues its investigation into the robbery. The arrest not only marks a significant step forward in this particular case but also underscores the persistence of law enforcement agencies in pursuing and apprehending suspects involved in criminal activities, regardless of the time elapsed since the commission of the crime.
