63-year-old Greene County woman arrested for allegedly distributing meth, oxycodone

GREENE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A 63-year-old woman allegedly distributed illegal drugs, launching an investigation lead by the Greene County Sheriff’s Office Street Crimes Unit and the 3A Narcotics and Gang Force.

According to the Greene County Sheriff’s Office, on Thursday, Feb. 8, a search warrant was carried out on a home in the town of Stanardsville in the county.

Following the search warrant, several items were seized, including drugs suspected to be Methamphetamine and Oxycodone.

Officials then arrested 63-year-old Diane Marie Woodward, of the town of Stanardsville, for two counts of distributing schedule I or II drugs, to include meth and Oxycodone.

Diane Woodward was held on a $3,000 bond.

This incident is still undergoing investigation and further charges are pending, according to the sheriff’s office.
