Police: Amazon driver charged with felony after stealing dog in Greene County

GREENE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — An Amazon delivery driver has been charged with felony larceny after stealing a Greene County dog from its owner’s home, according to the Greene County Sheriff’s Office.

According to police, 43-year-old Holly Clements was charged with felony larceny after taking the dog from their owner’s front yard on Wednesday, Feb. 7.

The dog’s owner, Alma Garcia, caught the theft with cameras aimed at her front yard.

Officers were able to recover the dog the next day in the Waynesboro area. According to police, Garcia has been reunited with her furry friend.
