ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (WVIR) – As people in Albemarle County gear up for Hurricane Helene, they are also still recovering from Wednesday night’s storms. Heavy winds and rains knocked out power lines, flooded roads, and has even left one Albemarle County family physically trapped in their home. It’s the second time in just about a month severe weather has washed away the bridge connecting the Clements’ house to the road.
