CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – The Department of Homeland Security says the biggest threats to our elections likely come from inside the country. Kenneith Wainstein, the Under Secretary for Intelligence and Analysis at the Department, visited the UVA Batten School on Monday. He warned audience members that domestic extremist groups have replaced foreign terrorist organizations as the most immediate threat.
