A proposal to double the size of Crozet’s Beaver Hill Mobile Home Community (MHC) was submitted to Albemarle County planners in August. Located on 47 acres on the north side of Rt. 240 across from the Highlands neighborhood, Beaver Hill has been established on that site since 1965, predating much of the surrounding development. Under its new plan, the park’s long-time owners would more than double the number of spaces for mobile/manufactured home structures on the site, from 43 to 96 units, adding a new leasing office, landscaping, and a connecting trail as well.
