20ft IUD at UVA raises awareness for contraception bill

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – Those driving down Alderman Road on Wednesday, April 30, would have been met with an unmissable sight: a 20-feet-tall inflatable IUD.

Unmissable was the goal, as advocates set up shop on University of Virginia Grounds as part of a statewide tour to pressure Governor Glenn Youngkin’s immediate passage of the Right to Contraception Act.
