Welcome Start to May with More “Summer-like” Warmth and Storm Chances

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – The late week and start to May picks up where April left off, with more “Summer-like” high temperatures in the 80s. Both Thursday and Friday will feature an opportunity for some hit and miss showers and storms, many will remain dry. A slow moving cold front and developing storm aloft, expected to develop, is trending for an unsettled and wetter weekend. Currently, showers and storms expected Saturday and more widespread rain and cooler temperatures for Sunday. This cloudy, cooler and wet pattern may take us into the first part of next week. Still watching.
