Dominion Energy and VCC program will install EV chargers along JAUNT rural transit routes

HARRISONBURG, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – James Madison University-based Virginia Clean Cities announces JAUNT as one of two rural public transit systems for which Dominion Energy Virginia will install new chargers for transit and public use. A VCC release says a grant from the U.S. Department of Energy is helping finance a partnership between them and Dominon Energy that “will make an impact on public transit that could be a model for the future”. Project Share Your eNroute Charge, or SYNC, creates a pilot charging network for rural transit vehicles along their routes.
