An extraordinary group of servant leaders spent 9 months learning and growing together as the Leaders Lab of Greater Charlottesville Class of 2025. On May 9, we celebrated their graduation with a ceremony and reception in the Bolick Center at Piedmont Virginia Community College.
Cohort members attended nine full-day sessions packed with community case studies, workshops with local leadership experts, group discussions and deep reflection. They chose to be open and vulnerable with each other, building connections that will endure and grow throughout their lives.
The class learned deeply from local practitioners about issues in our community like affordable housing, violence interruption, the homeless continuum of care, local climate action, community reentry after incarceration, early childhood education, and literacy gaps in our local schools…
