CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Some services are interrupted in Albemarle County government functions after what the county describes a cybersecurity incident this week taking down internet for some offices. The county says public safety services, including 9-1-1, remain in operation, but other county departments have been offline to contain the incident. “Albemarle County experienced a cyber incident earlier this week. While the response is ongoing and active, I would like to share with you an update:
Albemarle County is actively responding to a cybersecurity incident that has impacted certain systems within our network.
