CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – Hi! The sun is out this morning and the temperatures are rising! Highs will reach the upper 80s low 90s but the humidity will make it feel like the mid 90s. A stray shower or storm is possible today, with damaging wind gusts and isolated flooding being the concern with these storms.
We have declared tomorrow (Thursday) a First Alert Weather Day. The main concern is damaging wind gusts that could reach up to 70 mph. Spotty large hail and localized flooding are also possible, especially considering the amount of rain we’ve already received. And though low, we can’t rule out the risk of an isolated tornado.
