Indivisible Charlottesville holds rally Free Speech Wall to raise awareness on recent deportations

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – A rally took place Thursday, June 26, in Downtown Charlottesville as community members gathered to protest federal immigration policies and what they call unjust deportations.

It kicked off around 5:30 p.m. at the Free Speech Wall on the Downtown Mall.

Led by Indivisible Charlottesville, the rally is about bringing attention to recent deportation practices they believe violate constitutional rights and amplifying the stories of families impacted right here in our community…
