Sneak Peek at Virginia’s First Buc-ee’s

On Friday, upcoming the Rockingham County, VA Buc-ee’s welcomed first responders and their families to enjoy free food prepared by one of the county’s newest businesses. Virginia’s first Buc-ee’s will open on June 30th at 838 Friedens Church Rd. in Mount Crawford, VA. It will be located at the exit 240 interchange on Interstate 81 near Harrisonburg, VA. Fans are planning to camp out for the 6am opening, and a ribbon cutting kicks off the day at 10 AM, with live music, free samples, and giveaways adding to the celebration.

Plans are underway for four locations across Virginia in the coming years. One new Virginia location in New Kent County was initially set for 2023, but has now been postponed until 2027. While many hope this expansion might extend into Maryland next, despite speculative reports of a Buc-ee’s near Hagerstown on the I‑81 corridor, the company currently has no plans for that site…
