CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – Happy Fourth of July ! High pressure will deliver outstanding conditions today. We’ll see mostly sunny skies, seasonal temperatures, and comfortable humidity. This pleasant weather will last through the weekend, although humidity will begin to increase Sunday. A developing storm off the southeast coast may become our next named storm, Chantal by next week. Most of the energy will be east however, area beaches will have higher rip currents. Shower and storm chances increase next week. Have a great and safe holiday weekend !
