ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, Va. (WHSV) – The Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office has a suspect in custody following reports of shots fired early Saturday morning and a subsequent search, according to an RCSO release.
RCSO received a call of shots fired on Power Dam Road in the McGaheysville area early Saturday morning, Sheriff Bryan Hutcheson said. When deputies arrived, they determined multiple shots were fired at individuals at a gathering at a residence, then the suspect fled the scene, Hutcheson added.
