HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — A Harrisonburg man has been arrested in Front Royal, VA, in connection with an indecent exposure and carjacking incident that occurred in Harrisonburg over the weekend.
On July 18, officers with the Harrisonburg Police Department (HPD) responded to a report of a male exposing himself inside the Books-A-Million store located in Valley Mall. When officers arrived, the suspect was no longer on location, but a description and video footage of the male were obtained. Later the same day, the suspect was also reported to have been engaging in indecent acts at the Kroger store, where additional video footage of him was recovered.
On the afternoon of July 19, HPD officers were once again dispatched to Kroger following a report of a stolen vehicle. The vehicle’s owner had left it running with the keys in the ignition while briefly entering the store. Her children remained inside the car at the time. During that…
