CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – Heat Wave rolls on, but not too much longer. More heat and humidity Wednesday with a few storms, mainly west of the Blue Ridge. A Heat Advisory may be issued for parts of the region. The late week will bring increasing chances for showers and storms, especially Thursday. Temperatures will drop more significantly by Friday.
A slow moving, but strong cold front will bring us more storms and rain, but also break this current heat wave. The front will approach and just slowly push through Friday.
