CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – The courts at Boar’s Head Resort may be quiet now but soon, they’ll be filled with energy, laughter, and plenty of encouragement.
ACEing Autism is gearing up for its first session in Charlottesville and it’s looking for participants to help make it happen.
“Tennis is kind of just being used as an avenue to teach important social and life skills, like sharing, taking turns, stuff like that,” said Mia Seltman, one of the program’s directors. “And it’s nice for the kids to make friends outside of school and have something on the weekends to look forward to.”…
