HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) – As the August 12th Harrisonburg City Council meeting regarding the Link Apartment complex draws closer, downtown residents are unsure of what the future is looking like for Lindsey Funeral Homes.
This stems from conversations between downtown residents last night at the Elks Lodge, where they shared their thoughts and concerns about the proposed complex. One of the main concerns was the uncertainty of the future for the Lindsey Funeral Home, which currently sits on the proposed land.
The complex being proposed to the city council is intended to take over the land where the current location of the Lindsey Funeral Home is located. A spokesperson for the funeral home told WHSV that they have no intention of shutting their doors and are looking to relocate the funeral home…
