CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – Cooler than average temperatures for early August will continue this week. While humidity will increase, it won’t be as humid, as what we dealt with last week. More clouds Tuesday and Wednesday. While largely dry Tuesday, a few showers are possible. Mainly south of the James River. Wednesday a better chance of showers. This week, we will be caught between high pressure to our north and a developing storm offshore of the Carolina coast. The late week will still feature daily chances for some scattered showers and a few storms.
