CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – For the first several months of its long-awaited opening, the Albemarle County had a strict no-phone policy, as per a judge’s order signed and hung throughout and around the building.
The problem: newcomers to the courthouse frequently brought phones in, only to be told they would not be let in with a phone, even if it was turned off.
Now, the Court is using Yondr Pouches, also used in some Albemarle County schools, to allow people to bring in phones while maintaining the former policy…
